Arty road

Something of a transport day for us, as we were on our way to meet my husband's best friends. They have a lovely holiday home by a river. 
But we had some odd attractions along the way. My husband, who else, had discovered that there were works of art along the road. We found two of them. One of them was very beautifully placed in a river. It is, according to the info sign, ‘A rejoinder on the ongoing dialogue between man and nature’. The artist is Sigurdur Gudmundsson.
Extras: The second artwork we found was ‘A celebration to the pioneer woman’. The artist is Anna Karin Furunes.
If you look closely at the close-up of the beautiful pioneer woman, you will see something sneaking around behind her. Is it a elk, a reindeer, a bear? No, it is my husband having fun.
Eventually we reached our friends. And were immediately invited for fika by the riverside. Life is good.
