Through the greenhouse door…
We’ve had a wonderful afternoon at Titsey Place, one of the largest surviving historic estates in Surrey, and on this visit, we also had a tour of the house and gardens. It’s a beautiful home dating back to Tudor times and belonging to very rich gentry but is now a family home of one of the descendants and a charitable trust set up to preserve the estate for public benefit. We highly recommend it! The tea room is great!
Tomorrow we travel to Yeovil ready for Neil’s funeral and thanksgiving service on Monday. D is involved in the service and will also help carry Neil into the crematorium. He and Neil were great chums.
It’s been another beautiful day and evening. We were so surprised to notice the time later in the evening and it still wasn’t dark!
