The Bakehouse . . .

………………………………. at Ayrburn, near Arrowtown.

After coming along to church this morning, A&A & I joined up with my daughter & son-in-law for a family lunch at the Woolshed in Ayrburn, which is very near the Bakehouse in the photo above. We shared a large roast of lamb shoulder, together with four side plates, and cleaned it all up! It was delicious, all of it. There was enough gravy for 5 people to pour on our lamb dishes. What a treat!

Back at the Village I joined in with the Sunday afternoon croquet. Freezing conditions but thankfully we were still in the sun. It was -5° here this morning.

I played my flute in the church worship this morning and really enjoyed it. It’s 2 years since that ice accident, and there have been other roadblocks since then.
