New Pine Cones. Leitz Elmar 135mm
Our old pine tree is ever-changing. It is now producing a crop of new cones. On this, the thirteenth Saturday in a row on which it has rained, the cones were nicely silhouetted against a dreich sky, already in mono.
I have started using a most useful aid to manual focusing - and ageing eyes -, offered by the GX9: Focus Peaking. One can activate a setting which outlines in the color of one's choosing, the parts of the frame which are maximally in focus.
