Wendy
It may have been a dismal wet day, but I have had a ball. The morning swim was conducted in between rain showers and yachts being launched for a training session and the plus was we didn’t see any jelly fish although the group going into the water at 9am did spot two.
The rain was drizzly as I made my way up to a selkie’s house for soup and a natter at lunch time and a little more intense as I returned home. I indulged in a little light crocheting before it was time to head out for supper with the Edinburgh visiting Selkie henceforth known as my Orkney daughter. The rain at that point was heavy, and I was prepared to walk, but fortune favours the elderly and a car appeared as if by magic outside ,which saved the day.
If Wendy is my Orkney daughter then also present at the supper table were my Orkney grandson and his girl friend. We had a Thai meal which was simply delicious and there was lots and lots of laughter.
I have been so fortunate these last two days spending time with my Blip friends and my Selkie friends. I can’t thank them enough for making me feel welcomed to their world.
