Sunshine and showers

A pretty poor sleep as it was quite hot and sticky but I was up early to take Phin to Culloden Which odd for a romp after breakfast.

I met up with one of my old school chums for a coffee in town where we had a good catch up. Mr PHL took Phin on the bus into the city centre and we had a nice wander about before heading into the Victorian market to pick up some white and black pudding from the butcher’s. The market has recently had a new food court installed so we decided to try one of the eateries. I chose poorly and didn’t enjoy my chicken gyro as much as Mr PHL enjoyed his Korean beef bowl. Cest la vie!

We walked Phin the the Ness Islands and were caught in an unpredicted heavy shower but it gave me the opportunity to blip this rather jaunty Nessie.

I picked up a bottle of wine to take to Elaine as a wee sweetener after the damage caused yesterday. The keypad has been glued back onto the post but needs bolted on so is still out of action tonight.

We headed over to my brother's house for dinner and were pleased to see one of my nieces there too. Ellie and the baby also came over and the wee one was a darling and slept all evening. A lovely evening catching up on the wedding plans.
