Drookit

The weather today made up for the lack of rain so far this year, and Mr Rat had decided on a long run. He did keep to the lower levels and got back to the car just before a thunderstorm passed over with exceptional, torrential rain. His waterproof provided some protection.
There were thundery-type showers, minus the thunder, all morning but once the main one had passed it gradually eased off. I went for a walk late afternoon when it was almost dry and saw a duck with 7 small ducklings swimming down the swollen burn, they took the weir in their paddle.
The rest of the day I got various housework and odd jobs done, nothing too strenuous.
