After the rain

Incredibly rainy day - until the evening, when it wasn't :)  Tim and I went for a tiny walk after work - just up to Pall Meadow outside the Cairn - just to start trying to build ourselves up again.  Neither of us is quite 100% yet, but heading in the right direction.  I am at least managing to keep the coughing to enough of a minimum that I can sleep in our bed without disturbing Tim.

I'd originally been due to take my Mum for a hospital appointment today, but had reluctantly told her I wouldn't be able to (due to the lurg).  She had managed to book patient transport, which was good - but then they didn't actually turn up to take her.  Poor Mum.  She managed to rebook the appointment for next week, so I'll take her then.
