Progress!

Phew! It looks as if we will have our 2nd bedroom ready in time for our visitors, after all the renovation work which has been going on. A week on Friday Son#1 (+ wife and Grandson P) from Toronto will be coming to stay, along with Son#2 and his partner from Bath, so we had a deadline for the bedroom work! (We only have another week to get the house in order as we'll be away for most of the week after next. That means clearing space in one of the attic rooms as the third bedroom to which we'll decant ourselves, fitting the stairgate, etc so there's quite a lot still to do.) Fortunately Son#3 & family live here in Newcastle so we don't need to find a bedroom for them as well!

(Note: I struggled to get the colours to work out right, the walls aren't that yellow and the carpet is a gentle beige!)
