Whit Friday

It comes round every year, the Whit Friday Brass Band competitions in Saddleworth.

A whole series of villages with competitions, all blind judged, with bands making their way through the pennines, trying to compete in as many as possible.

Fish and Chips and a pint, some fresh air with friends. A couple of hours is enough to soak it all in.
