Christmas is here

Thanks for the encouragement yesterday. Particular thanks to Hrubieszowianka for egging me on and for today's inspiration.

I knew those fairy lights I put up for Christmas last year would come in useful if I left them up. I had to stand on the kitchen table with all the other lights off except for the fairy lights, keep the shutter open, the ISO low (get me) and then jiggle up and down a bit. All of which got the whippet a bit overheated and she tried to join me. Mrs Smith had to take her out for a walk to calm down while I looked through what I'd got.

I will take more sensible pictures but at the moment I am just enjoying what I can do with the new camera. It's like being a kid at Christmas. Ho Ho Ho.
