Osteospermum "Margarita White Spoon"
Clickychick had decided on something she wanted to buy, so we set off for Carlisle prepared for a tour of various outlets. Our first port of call was Dobbies garden centre, where we had lunch. Next because I didn't take the turn I should have we headed for Currys (we were looking for something else there). Then in to the city to Dunelm. A few minutes in Dunelm had made up CC's mind. We headed back to Dobbies.
We had gone in the Volvo expecting to need the load space. We were wrong! Despite having what we wanted on display they didn't have any in stock. So it has been ordered and will be delivered in 7 -10 working days. When we got home CC got an email to arrange the delivery. Oh Horror they wanted to use a massive lorry. That wasn't going to happen where we live. Fortunately she got straight on the phone and arranged delivery by a smaller vehicle.
While at Dobbies we took the opportunity to get a few blips. The strange shape of this Osteospermum caught my eye. I have only ever known the plant as Osteospermum but it seems the common name is "African Daisies". As the common name suggests they are native to s Africa and so aren't really hardy in cold areas of UK.
An afterthought! Given that shops etc are open 7 days a week these days do "working days" include Saturday and Sunday or are 10 working days really two weeks?
