Siesta

This summer's first heatwave ist building up. It wasn't nice to be outside today with 33°C  in the shade, and high humidity. I only did some gardening in the early morning while it was still bearable. 

Then I stayed in the house, busy with paperwork and chores. But I joined Rani for a siesta during the worst of the afternoon heat.

I didn't watch any news until the evening and was shocked by Israel's strikes on Iran (obviously planned in complicity with Donald Trump) and the ongoing escalation. I just hope it won't become another full-scale war.
