Lovely last walk

Well, end of a long
week.. they’re all long to be fair!
Weekend fresh air now :-)

Where to start, I walked the dog, spoke to a friend, filled the fridge for older teen for the weekend and had lunch out with Mr KCNQ2Haiku. There is a bit of a worry as we found out some rogues had taken some money from our neighbours, taken some roof tiles off and promised to return.. obviously they didn’t. So another lovely neighbour (who is in the building industry) has been up on their roof making repairs. The family had rallied around too, so weren’t required, especially since neither of us operates well on roofs* or with cement and mortar products :-/ So we’ve come away for the weekend and we’ll check back in on Sunday when we’re home. So upsetting to see the impact of unscrupulous people though and that even in a pretty close knit street (well, our end of the street anyway!) these things can happen under your nose.
In other frustrations.. I’m very hayfevery which is a pain. And Mr KCNQ2Haiku is wiped out after so many crazy busy weeks. Hopefully the big skies and air will perk us both up!

* I want this to say rooves but spell check is adamant I’m wrong! I think it’s like scarf.. I spent up to about age 30 thinking it was scalf (like calf.. surely!) and was devastated to learn I’d been so wrong!
