Talmont sur Gironde
Off we went to Talmont where there was a bit of a sea breeze, but it was still 34 degrees! We had lunch in a restaurant which had misting devices on the patio shades, then home for swim time.
Mr F has put a couple of (bought- not ours) chickens on the bbq rotisserie spike and our guests are cooking rice with added peppers, onions and sweetcorn for this evening’s meal. My contribution was several courgettes I’ve grown in the garden, sliced lengthways and bbq’d with mustard, but maybe they’ll want a chocolate fondant later?
Last night I made a cherry clafoutis as Mr F’s cousin had picked and de-stoned all the cherries from the garden.
They have requested cherry crumble for tomorrow!
P.S. I do like those shutter hinges!
