Cool waters

It was humid and warm last night.  Kept waking up.  Took hound for a walk at 6am.  There was a breeze but felt perfectly comfortable in sleeveless top.

Headed to town after breakfast.  My early arrival just after 9 am was noted by stallholders.  I decided to walk by the river.  There were many tourists queuing up for the chauffeur punt trips.  I overhead a punt chauffeur saying they could not get hold of someone, implying chauffeurs were in short supply.  I was back home by 10.30am.

I've stayed indoors this afternoon reading and catching up with various tasks.  It may be an ice cream night tonight.

A storm has been forecast.  Yesterday the time span started at 3pm and has shifted to 7pm.  It may not materialize at all.

I'll have to take the hound out early tomorrow morning.

Shocking news of Israel bombing Iran.  I'm no fan of the brutal Iranian regime but again innocent people and children killed.  This is horrific.  The world is in a perilous state because of egos.
