Herno Gin Hotel

One of the most successful start-ups in our area is Hernö Gin. They were in the first wave of local gin producers, and claim to have been the first gin distillery in Sweden when they started in 2011. Now their web site claims; "Hernö Gin is the world’s leading and most awarded craft gin producer"!
Now they have also moved into the hotel business and my picture shows the result. Opinions are varied as to the architectural qualities of the building but I liked it from the beginning and I think it looks gorgeous on a midsummer evening, illuminated by the sun.
I was in town for a political meeting and took an evening walk afterwards. One of the first really warm evenings, and I had a few urban checkpoints to find in the local orienteering competition. The ones I had time to look for have now put me in 125th place in the local league! (What, me? Obsessed?)
