Sushi first attempt

I'm back! Firstly, a very belated but very heartfelt Thank You for your lovely comments on my 730th blip. I started to reply to everyone, but this need for some time away just overwhelmed me, so I didn't even get around to individual thank yours, but then I never got around to sending all of my Wedding thank you cards either, so think yourselves lucky (I have no idea why that would make you feel lucky).

It is scorching hot in Cyprus, the boys are away in Ayia Napa for their annual weekend of madness (for which they are getting far too old), so I had the girls (Napa Widows) round tonight for champagne cocktails, home made California rolls, and lots of other goodies, mainly chocolate based. It was my first attempt at making sushi, and I really enjoyed it, although I need to work on my presentation, clearly.

It's lovely to be back. x
