Pellies

We went out early for gas,  paint and a few groceries. I started painting some decorative blocks our friend gave us to elevate our pots. After lunch I started painting them. When the tide was right we went fishing. It was so calm on the river but it took a while to get on the fish. We kept about 15 when all was said and done. My first fishing trip this year turned out to be very enjoyable. The pelicans were resting on the water near us while we fished. When I was younger we rarely saw pelicans on the river. They stayed on the Chesapeake Bay some 14 miles away.  I enjoy the big goofy looking birds. We made a delish sausage, tortellini, pepperoni, pizza bake for dinner. A recipe fund on Pinterest. It was delish.
