Shortened cars

I’ve volunteered at the theatre this morning for a performance by the Blue Apple Drama School of Sherlock Holmes and the Thief of Antiquity. The drama school is for people with learning disabilities. The performance was really good.

The photo was taken as I walked home. Thus is the top end of town and you can see the West Gate and the Guildhall where a wedding party were having their photos taken. Until 1959 traffic drove through the gate. The connecting buildings were demolished to create the road as we see it now.

As it’s a panorama and it’s a busy roundabout the cars have been deformed.
