Evening sun, through lavender

I had a full library shift today, 9-5, then home to prepare a simple but tasty veggie pasta dish for my two daughters coming round. They don’t often come together and we had a lovely few hours. After the tidying up, in need of a blip, I headed out into the breezy garden and rather liked this view. 

I was upset to hear today that one of the two Peregrine Falcon chicks at Glasgow University has died, the SSPCA think it’s likely that he had contracted bird flu and sadly had to put him to sleep.
