The Colourists - Dovecot Studio , Edinburgh

I had such a lovely day with my cousin Cate in Edinburgh today. 
A train from Dunblane at 9.30 and a whole day away from caring responsibilities at Doune. We have been meeting more these last few years and find we have lots to share and discuss. 
I'm delighted to have her in my life more regularly. 
This small painting by Vanessa Bell caught my eye as she is a great favourite of my daughter Kirsty's so I stopped to take a photo. A few extras.
