Adam and Jess

Met some friends (Adam and Dee) for lunch - they are in the Lakes for a few days so we had lunch at Tweedy's bar in Grasmere where I managed 6 different beers - not too much of a panic - they sell beers in a "bat" containing three 1/3 pint glasses. A & D had Jess - one of their dogs with them, but Hamlet, their Jack Russell wasn't there - unfortunately he's suffering from Cancer, and he's pretty poorly.

After lunch we took a drive round the area (Gail drove!) and managed to rip the side out of a 2-week old tyre on a rock that had slit off the verge onto the road. So I had the pleasure of changing that on a narrow road with passing places!
