Serbian Bellflower
These lovely star shaped flowers thrives in the cracks of paths, walls and steps with no soil and will bloom for months.
Pollok Park has many little clumps of these flowers growing on the stonework at the edge of the parterre.
The extra photo is interesting rather than esthetically beautiful. Walking Fouter in the park this morning we came upon this grassy area that was covered with horse chestnut leaves and tiny conkers just beginning to form. I suspect a fairly lengthy fracas involving magpies, crows or any other rather large birds.
It certainly wasn't caused by squirrels and it certainly wasn't caused by wind in only one area.
