Another of my favourite August traditions: checking out the World Press Photo exhibition at the Scottish Parliament.
As usual, it hosts a series of deeply moving and unbelievably honest images. I don't think you can walk away without having a single image move you to tears. It's stuff like this that keeps me profoundly interested in photography.
Back on the train to Manchester now, though I know I'll be making it back here to Edinburgh again soon.
