DIESEL GALA 2025
Cracking day at the NYMR where the Annual Diesel Gala is taking place. Main aim was to view a Class 37 locomotive Great Rocks . . . sadly she is sickly . . . no working brakes. That would have made for an exciting ride and driven the Fat Controller to despair.
However, plenty more to see . . . Main image shows Deltic Loco Alycidon, built in 1962.
Extra images show Alycidon again, Great Rocks, Rodney, Dennis G Robinson and finally, Loram Rail
Most of you will want to switch off now, but for those interested some other notes below.
