Capturing my Journey

Moving

We had this cow and her calf in a small paddock on their own. The calf has joint ill (a naval infection that attacks the joints) he's been improving on antibiotics. However when husband went to give him his next jag today he had a bite mark on his backside. Looks like the wolf had a try and the cow bless her did an amazing job of fighting it off. Anyway husband was concreting today so asked me to move them in with the calving cows lot by the house. I did it in two stints so the calf could have 3 hour a rest in between. This is them arriving at the end of the first stint. The haze is smoke smog from the fires northeast of us. Sinuses are not impressed. All windows closed in the house and other than walking the cow and calf home I stayed inside. Sciatica getting better but still a bit grumpy too.
