…stalking

in

the garden

i did my typical - drive around the - neighborhood with my car - which is getting more - difficult these days because - my neurological eye disorder - is becoming a bit worse - with its spasming making - it hard to see - anyway after situating the - car in my garage - i took a turn around - the community garden to see - what i might find

i am waiting patiently - for some peonies to - bloom in one garden plot - it’s taking what feels like - forever mostly due to - our up and down weather - then i spotted this butterfly - and began the stalking ritual - well that’s what i call - my chasing after it - fortunately she/he was cooperative - landing for me so - i could quickly snap - and then quietly leave it alone - i don’t like to - interfere with nature too much - or be disruptive if - i don’t have to be - i believe nature deserves us - humans to be respectful - around it as we can - allowing it as well to experience…
