Downs

Not a great day for various reasons. So, I feel lucky and very much appreciate being able to get up on to the Downs for a run in the beautiful evening light.

I met a chap walking his bike up a steep hill to Butts Brow near Eastbourne. He looked a bit tired, he'd ridden the whole South Downs Way from Winchester, starting at 8.30 this morning. It was nice to tell him it was all downhill from here.
