Culzean Castle and poet Burns birth place

Today, we travelled south of Glasgow to visit the Culzean Castle (the name, somehow, is pronounced completely differently from how it’s spelled) of the Kennedy clan (unrelated to the Irish Kennedy’s) and later Alloway, the birth place of Scotland’s most famous poet, Robert Burns. A few extras from the day

Our guide, once again, was a fount of knowledge about both places/people. I like it when I travel and feel like I’ve actually learned something :)

Tomorrow we move on to Oban and visit that area for a couple of days and I might even meet up with a blipper!!! :)
