Bullers of Buchan #4

It was a lovely, still evening and the conditions were just perfect for visiting the puffins at the Bullers of Buchan.

I got very close up to this puffin, who looks a little bit scary but isn’t really.  I moved on round to another nesting area, the one where the lovely couple who were canoodling the last time I saw them at their burrow.

They were very entertaining the last time I saw them and they didn’t disappoint this time, I so enjoyed photographing them again (see extras).

I have decided that this will be my last visit to see the puffins this year.  I very much doubt I could take better photos than I have already done.  It will also keep me in Mrs CBL’s good books if I keep this promise!
