A trip out
I was unable to visit Terry this afternoon as he was due to go for endoscopy which he'd only been told about early this morning when they came with his breakfast at 6am, after which he was to be nil by mouth. Therefore he told me not to visit as it could be pointless. I said I'd visit in the evening.
It was a beautiful day so I decided to go to Liverpool and do an adventure lab cache and 2 earthcaches. As it was I completed the lab and did three stages of another (there are five stages in most adventure lab caches) before doing the 2 earthcaches. After this I adjourned to Costa for a cheese and tomato toastie and a cappuccino before heading back to catch the train home.
Terry didn't go to endoscopy till late afternoon but they couldn't manage to do it fully and he's booked back in tomorrow morning when the consultant may be doing it - so he got a bite to eat around 6pm but no brew and then he's nil by mouth again from midnight.
No mention of home yet. He is feeling so much better but still can only eat a small amount before he feels full.
Photo was one of a few I took while in Liverpool. We are very fortunate in Merseyside to have a senior travel pass which is not only for buses but for the train and the Mersey Ferry as well. I've not used it on the ferry though.
