River Wharfe

The weather today was really gorgeous - sunny and warm.  We went for another walk along this beautiful river which we will miss when we are back in the Cotswolds.  The bird life along the river has been very ineresting and I've added a couple of extras.  Who knew that there would be so many oyster catchers in the Dales?!  I've added an extra (much cropped) of one taking off as well as one of a lovely mother duck and her six ducklings.  We couldn't identify what sort of duck she is but I'm sure one of you knowledgeable blippers will know.
