Geranium Rozanne
Our garden is full of these geraniums. It seems all the interesting flowers have died off and we have masses of these instead. They are pretty but they tend to spread, so need to be controlled.
The forecast for today was 24C so I went off to golf this morning in shorts and a short sleeved golf shirt, but luckily packed a sweater as it was cold. I enjoyed my golf session, then came home and had to clean the coffee machine, descaling it too.
I decided to go to Marks and Spencer to do some shopping, it has been years since I stepped into a M&S store but due to their cyber attack a few weeks ago they have paused online trading. I wanted to buy Gavin some T shirts to wear around the house (he never wears T shirts out) and after I bought them I found out that today their online trading had resumed. There is far more choice online and I could have saved myself the trip there, but luckily he is happy with my choice for him. I also bought myself some British grown peonies and some delicious looking cherries - I love it when we can buy British grown flowers in the summer.
This afternoon the sun came out and it was so hot! Xena came back from her walk very thirsty and hot.
We are meeting friends for an early supper tonight, we are trying a new local restaurant so that should be good.
