Scented rose

We were approached by our neighbour last night whose daughter was making some chocolate madeleines and they had run out of flour. She has just brought round a couple for us, they were delicious and they didn't last long!

This is a rose we planted a couple of years ago and is beautifully scented.

It's going to be hot today in Brittany, but thankfully only around 29°C. Where we used to live in the Charente it will be around 38°C.
