2025 Saturday — Making Rings

Mr. Fun & I attended a Silversmith class; he really, really wanted to. Me, not so much.

The 3-hour class was very interesting. I made 9 rings; he made less because his rings are bigger than mine.

If I had it to do over again would I attend? Yes! I like to learn.

Watching the little piece of solder get sucked into the flaming hot silver wire was fascinating. We were all given careful instructions about not turning toward our neighbor when we had our torch on. I was imagining a group of jr. highers with these little torches in a workshop. Egads.
