Stunned briefly

Glad to see it fly off.

A day planned by the hour.

Did a run first off. Was desperate to do one.
Then 2 friends arrived to dog walk with me and my doggies, exploring new paths and taking our time.

They left and another friend arrived, who I haven’t seen in over a year. Our 2 youngest were in the same class as her boys through primary and secondary. We had lunch and a wander.

She left and a new lady from church and her 2 boys arrived. It was a good few hours really. Her boys wanted to pet the dogs, which they eventually did, but we did things slowly. They didn’t leave until 7 so then it was supper done quickly and off to church for grow group.

Full day. 22,000 steps. No A Level exams. Lots more washing done too.

Overjoyed to download the Merlin app and listen to the birds with help. So so thankful for the friend today who suggested it. The birdsong around here is epic.
