These girls…

…are amazing! 
They were in the Dundee competition Lucy came 2nd in her group and Amelia came 3rd in hers.
I love the photo of Lucy and her coach Stacy.
I am so happy for Amelia because she’s been having a wobbles recently - I don’t mean on the ice, just the anxious kind. She was crying at the start and said she couldn’t do it. Her coach Gemma gave her a good talking to, no sympathy just - ‘Stop this crap and get on the ice! You know you can do it!’ Well she did and beat her own personal best and got a podium place.
Afterwards she said to Gemma ‘I needed that talking to so thanks!’
Gemma said it’s really common for girls of this age to start doubting themselves and their abilities.
We didn’t do much today apart from the school run and dropping them off at the ice rink.
Lucy went for a swimming lesson before skating.
Where do they get their energy from?
