Cargo

Today we drove to Southampton to visit IKEA. Merlin stayed at home and Hannah came over to walk him. We returned by lunchtime so he wasn’t on his own for too long.

Our shopping trip was a partial success but we didn’t get quite as many items as we’d hoped for - a number of small but useful household items were missing.

The day has been mainly overcast and humid. The sun appeared this afternoon when Merlin and I were out so we had a rather warm and heavy feeling walk.

I’m listening to audiobooks this evening. I’ve just finished The Pavilion in the Clouds by Alexander McCall Smith.
