ruff landings

day at the brilliant hawk conservancy again.. seens we got our membership it will be used and abused.. love the place.. there is something very spiritual and peaceful about watching large.. in some cases very large birds fly ,all set to classical music .. watching the bald eagles fly in from a couple of miles away is awe inspiring.
news thats other news, im a winner...according to the lottery ... weve all received those daft notifications on line about our huge huge win of... £5.60 ....wow....the excitement.. i tell ya ..well .. to work i go... not unless i win tonite !!! theres always hope.. mind you , i could run round in a flat field in the middle of the worst thunderstorm imaginable and still not get zapped.. think the odds are less for getting struck by lightening than winning the lottery....as my ma in law says,, i couldnt win argument..
anyway,, by the time you have got this far,, your either doffy,, ristosan, Ros...Hi ros ...!! i think everyone else switches off. i can tell i came face to face with darkest fears today.. went to visit alis dad in hospital,, walking through the wards , looking at alot of sad, hopeless frightened eyes staring back at me..thinking,,,,poor poor buggers. and also christ ..please dont let me go this way...morbid thought i know.. thats why i left it till now..poor ole doug ..what a way to fall...just withering on a downwards spiral... just withering in the face of the onslaught of age and illness... brings one down to earth with a sobering bump....
