Tuesday: Ladybird and Baby Blackbird
Rain has gone and we had sunshine and a “stiff breeze” - I hadn’t slept well after 4am, I went back to bed after breakfast kept nodding off and being woken up, gave it up as a bad job - took an Anadin because it feels like hay fever/ sinusitis :-((
Dozens of leaves had been blown off the Cordyline - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3375947799949477127 - so collected them and put them in the green bin, today’s ladybird was sitting on the green bin handle. Quick photo then left them to it :-)
MrD went to our optician in Bangor, while he was out I went to the greenhouse to pot on 3 “Tumbling Tom” tomato plants, it was lucky that I was watching where I was putting my feet because at the end of the concrete path, level with the top step was this very beautiful baby blackbird which was just looking at me!
Late afternoon I repotted my Red Cabbage seedlings, they’ll probably go into one of the clear plastic boxes, soon be Cabbage White butterfly season, especially if we get the promised warm weather!
A couple more episodes of “Monarch of the Glen” this evening, we’ve now reached Series 2 :-))
Loads of love and hugs to all my family / Cariad Mawr
