Michaelmas Daisies

A bit early but they make a good show.

Basil and I Cecilied down to the village where I collected my new specs from Mr Ryatt. Very smart they are too. I must take a selfie.

Then to the Post Office to use the ATM and finally to The Tap on Hallcroft. I'd been thinking about Colin and there he was in the bar quaffing a no-alcohol beer. He's been in the wars having one of his big toes amputated after it developed sepsis a week ago. Today was his first outing. 

Peter arrived and conversation ranged over several issues. It felt very sociable I enjoyed my G&T.
