Wild

The grass on the roundabout in front of the National Park building is now only mown nearest to the roadside, with the bulk of the centre now devoted to wildflowers.

Many people in the area are unhappy with the local council’s cutbacks to public-area grass cutting, due to the challenges it brings to dog-walkers and limitations on use of public green space, suspecting a cost-cutting measure rather than the Council’s stated reason of promoting biodiversity.

The flowers on this roundabout however do look pretty.
