Florence

A trip to the vets today for Florence, for a health check and some blood tests. She has a fast heart rate, even considering the environment. Her teeth are good and her arthritis was not too bad especially for a cat that is almost eighteen years old. The vet phoned this afternoon and she has a thyroid problem the same as her sister Sybil. She even has the same medication. This may be masking a kidney problem, although both kidneys look okay at the moment. So Thyronorm twice a day and a renal diet. She goes back in three weeks for more blood tests to see how she is doing.
