A Simple Scene…..

……and a favourite view of mine. The lopsided pine. It is iconic in my view. It can be seen from a distance. A frosty morning. Hat, gloves and scarves a prerequisite. I had Ruby on a very short lead. She weighs 15 kg now and is very strong. Hannah and Alex took her walking while they were here. They were very firm with her as she is just getting into somewhat rebellious behaviors. Alas they and Kevin, their 12 year old cat, headed back to Marahau this morning.
Friend Rachel visited late morning. We had a good catch-up. Then I spent the afternoon, until darkness fell, working in my yard and garden. The days are far too short for my liking.
