Our last walk up the canal...

...for 5 weeks!

Found an amazing new coffee shop. The coffee is sublime.

All packing has been done, just toiletries to pack after our morning ablutions and then we're off.

Final planning meeting in the pub as a reward for getting everything done, which is a great motivator! We came home and got a few jobs off tomorrow's list done too then an early-ish night.

Blip is of the Llanthony bridge across the canal, 
There have been three bridges on this site, the first being a wooden swing bridge to cross the newly built docks in 1794. An iron swing bridge was then constructed to replace it in the 1860's. This bridge was built in 1972 but must have had a serious overall though as its much quicker to lift than it used to be.
