i remember growing up - my mama had - a tiny side garden - which sat directly under - our dining room window and every season - she had daddy plant - a variety of flowers - there which bloomed until - frost hit in the fall - included were wonderfully bright - orange oriental poppies - i had never heard of them - being young and all - but upon picking up - my camera again and snapping - flowers, trying to know them - i began seeing poppies like these around - the area and was flooded - with sweet memories from childhood

isn’t it funny - how a simple thing - can trigger or evoke - such a strong emotional response - bringing about a reliving - if you will - of a time that was pleasant - filled with wonder - and especially led to…
