First Picture of You

It was the village agricultural show today. Grace entered one class - a self portrait - and won first prize. She also won third prize for the weaving she did that was part of the school competition. Really proud of her. She was most chuffed about the fact she won money! Ophelia didn't win a prize for her wild flower arrangement, but enjoyed taking part and got a special note from the judge about the decorated jar. Apart from the competitions there was a little merry go round for the kids, hook a duck; plus a stunt bike show, pony riding classes and terrier racing to watch. We also enjoyed catching up with friends that we hadn't seen since the end of term. The weather was a bit wild, with rain showers and gusty winds, but all in all everyone seemed to have a good day!
