Pump up the volume

A quick pumping up of tyres in readiness for an office day – except I may not need to! Past me made an excellent purchasing decision that future me has just this moment discovered, so the shop I had in mind to visit at lunchtime may stay unpatronised.

I will see how the weather looks at breakfast time: it's rained almost all day today and my rainwater collection system more than filled a 6-pint milk carton and is steadily working on the next.
