Glasgow day one

We had the day to ourselves as we arrived a day ahead of the tour. We visited the area around our hotel and a local with whom we engaged suggested taking a tour of City Chambers. So glad we did: what a magnificent building! A couple more pix in extras.

And can I just say: people here are just lovely (even though I occasionally have trouble understanding them!)
